On Thursday, May 17, there will be a march in Ma’ale Adumim starting at 17:00 in Park Hakeren.
At 19:45 there will be a celebration in Central Park featuring the singer Idan Amedi.
There will be shofar blowing and fireworks.
Ma'ale Adumim Jerusalem Day Celebration
Today, the new main entrance to Ma’ale Adumim was opened.
Mayor Benny Kashriel, Housing and Construction Minister Ariel
Atias, council members, city administration and other dignitaries
attended the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
The new entrance leads directly to the man traffic circle near city hall.
The area along the new road has a lake, an amphitheater and a coffee shop.

On Thursday, March 8, there was a Purim parade in Ma’ale Adumim.
The parade (called “Adloyada”) started at 10:00am.
The weather was great and thousands enjoyed the parade and
the Purim activities in Central Park.

Hi Everyone!
This Thursday, March 8, there will be a Purim parade in Ma’ale Adumim.
The parade starts at 10:00am near the junction of Midarbar Yehuda and Nechalim
(near the Matnas) and will proceed to Kedem street (past city hall),
Avnei Hachoshen street and will end in a big Purim happening in central park.
Below are the Hebrew flyers for the event including a list of traffic and bus changes for Tuesday.
I plan (b”h) to take photos, so if you see me (probably opposite Kikar Yahalom) and you are in costume, just call out and I will take your photo.

near the Mr. Zol supermarket between 16:00-21:00
You need to bring an id card with you.
If you are 17 you need permission from your parents.
Everyone that donates blood gets one year blood insurance
for you and your their family.

Hi Everyone!
English literacy Institute A.H.A.V.A. has launched its seventh annual
read-a-thon by inviting local school children to help create what is
expected to be the biggest book ever made in Israel.
The book titled “The Giant’s Book” about a giant who can’t find a
book big enough to read, measures almost two meters tall,
over one meter wide and is being made by school children from
over 13 schools in Ma’ale Adumim who will be given words to
write and design.
Children’s author and illustrator Netanel Epstein has created the
front cover for the book which was unveiled at the Nofei HaSelah
School in Ma’ale Adumim.

Hi Everyone!
This evening, 2nd candle lighting of Chanukah, a group of enthusiastic youths and adults from Ma’ale Adumim built a giant Chanukiah in Mevaseret Adumim.
The Chanukiah was made with approximately 400 candles with sand in falafel bags placed on the side of the mountain. Anyone traveling tonight and tomorrow night on the Jerusalem – Dea Sea highway will be able to see the lit Chanukiah. This is a unique way to publicize the miracle of Chanukah.
