Yom Ha’atzmaut Events in Ma’ale Adumim

Hi Everyone!

Here are the free events scheduled for Yom Ha’atzmaut in Ma’ale Adumim:

** Special Ma’ariv and Shacharit at local shuls **

Neighborhood Yom Hazikaron to Yom Ha’atzmaut Ceremony
in the small backyard of the Yeshiva High School in Mitzpe Nevo at 19:00

Wednesday night at Beit Moreshet Ha’ugav 2
Ma’ariv at 19:45
Entertainment starts around 21:00
Separate Dancing in the Sdeh Chemed yard starting around 22:00

Wednesday night celebration in Central Park from 20:00 – 23:00
21:00 Singer Sarit Hadad
21:50 Singer Loai Ali
On Wednesday night there will be 2 rounds of fireworks

On Yom Ha’atzmaut, the Hayaaran Forest picnic area will be
open for picnics from 9:00am to 4:00pm . There will be
inflatable children’s structures and activities.
There will also be an army exhibition.

The entrance to the the area (by car) is located on the
right side on the highway 3/4 down the mountain traveling
from Jerusalem to Ma’ale Adumim.

There will be hourly bus rides to the picnic area starting at 9am.
The bus will pickup people every whole hour at city hall.

Tuesday, March 29, is Good Deeds Day.
There will be several events in Ma’ale Adumim to spread the good.

* Free checking of Tefilin at Beit Knesset Megadim
10:00-12:00 and 15:00-18:00

* Free return of overdue books to the library without return fees

* Donation of clothes and linen to Beged Lechem
9:00 – 21:00
Almog 14/5 elevator to level -1

* Selling of spice plants in the Matnas at 16:00

* Fair with various booths at the Country Club

* Community Koolam Sing-Along at 18:00
in the elephant park near Kikar Yahalom

Photos of Purim in Ma’ale Adumim

Hi Everyone!

Today, I took 160 Purim photos in Ma’ale Adumim.
I started with the Purim carnival in Central Park.
I got to the carnival a bit early, so many of the
photos are people setting up their areas.
After the carnival started, I went to the Purim events
outside the Cultural Center. In the afternoon,
I took photos in my neighborhood – Mitzpe Nevo.

Purim Events in Ma’ale Adumim

Hi Everyone!

On Wednesday night – March 16, and on Thursday – March 17,
there will be various purim shows at theCultural Center
Admission to an event is 10 shekels.

On Purim, March 17, there will be a Purim carnival in
Kikar Yahalom / Central Park from 11:00 to 15:00
The event is free.
On the main stage in central park:
11:00 – Tuti – Super Heros in the robot kingdom
13:00 – Performnces by TikTok Stars
14:00 – Muli and Tzumi
Also:
School Perfromances and a Costume Contest

I plan (b”h) to take photos at the carnival in the park.
If you see me, call me over to take your photo.

Ma’ale Adumim Bus Changes starting August 13, 2021

Hi Everyone!

As of Friday, August 13, 2021, Buses 174, 176, 177, 178
will no longer stop at the Ammunition Hill light rail station
and will no longer go down Bar-Ilan street and Sarei Yisrael
Streets. The reason is the work being done on the light
rail green line on Bar-Ilan street.

Buses going toward Jerusalem will make a stop on
Sderot Haim Bar Lev near the white sculpture and
continue onto Yigal Yadin and then the Begin Highway.
The final stop will be in front of Binyanei Hauma.

Buses going from Jerusalem to Ma’ale Adumim will
start on Sderot Shazar right near the Jerusalem – Tel-Aviv
train station.

The frequency of all 170 buses will be reduced to
once every 30 minutes to an hour.

The frequency of all 160 buses that go to / from Amunition Hill
will be increased.

Design City Opening Festival – August 9 to August 11

Hi Everyone!

Design City in Mishor Adumim is having a 3 day opening festival
from August 9 to August 11.
The festivities will run every day from 15:00 to 22:00.

The festival events will include art performances, juggling shows,
flash mob performances, unique musical ensembles, a street
theater accompanied by spectacular backdrops and costumes,
a unique and spectacular fashion parade and more.
In total, about 250 different artists will take part in the
artistic program. There will also be fireworks!

Throughout the summer and also during the festival, a free bus line
will operate from Jerusalem to the D CITY complex
from: 09:30 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 22:00.
Shuttles will depart every 20 minutes from the
Internatioal Convention Center bus stops, Road 9,
Ramot Junction and French Hill, and on Fridays from 09:30 to 14:00.
The last daily trip from the complex to Jerusalem will depart at 22:00

If you live in Ma’ale Adumim, bus 23 has a bus stop 2 blocks
from Design City (one stop after Rami Levy). The bus runs about
once an hour in both directions.
Check your phone app (like Moovit) for exact times.
