Ma’ale Adumim Bus Changes starting August 13, 2021

Hi Everyone!

As of Friday, August 13, 2021, Buses 174, 176, 177, 178
will no longer stop at the Ammunition Hill light rail station
and will no longer go down Bar-Ilan street and Sarei Yisrael
Streets. The reason is the work being done on the light
rail green line on Bar-Ilan street.

Buses going toward Jerusalem will make a stop on
Sderot Haim Bar Lev near the white sculpture and
continue onto Yigal Yadin and then the Begin Highway.
The final stop will be in front of Binyanei Hauma.

Buses going from Jerusalem to Ma’ale Adumim will
start on Sderot Shazar right near the Jerusalem – Tel-Aviv
train station.

The frequency of all 170 buses will be reduced to
once every 30 minutes to an hour.

The frequency of all 160 buses that go to / from Amunition Hill
will be increased.

Design City Opening Festival – August 9 to August 11

Hi Everyone!

Design City in Mishor Adumim is having a 3 day opening festival
from August 9 to August 11.
The festivities will run every day from 15:00 to 22:00.

The festival events will include art performances, juggling shows,
flash mob performances, unique musical ensembles, a street
theater accompanied by spectacular backdrops and costumes,
a unique and spectacular fashion parade and more.
In total, about 250 different artists will take part in the
artistic program. There will also be fireworks!

Throughout the summer and also during the festival, a free bus line
will operate from Jerusalem to the D CITY complex
from: 09:30 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 22:00.
Shuttles will depart every 20 minutes from the
Internatioal Convention Center bus stops, Road 9,
Ramot Junction and French Hill, and on Fridays from 09:30 to 14:00.
The last daily trip from the complex to Jerusalem will depart at 22:00

If you live in Ma’ale Adumim, bus 23 has a bus stop 2 blocks
from Design City (one stop after Rami Levy). The bus runs about
once an hour in both directions.
Check your phone app (like Moovit) for exact times.

Photos of the New Design City Mall in Mishor Adumim

Hi Everyone!

Today, I visited the Design City new mall in Mishor Adumim.
Wow!! Really nice!!
About 20% of the stores are open. Within 30-60 days all stores
and restaurants should be open.
During August, there will be several free concerts and
flash mob performances at the new mall. I will share the details
when they are posted online.

Hebrew Book Week Happening in Ma’ale Adumim – June 14,15

Hi Everyone!

During the upcoming Hebrew Book Week the library is having
a 2 day fair in the Kikar Yahalom Plaza in front of the
Cultural Center.

Dates: Monday June 14 and Tuesday June 15
Hours: 6pm to 8pm (18:00-20:00)

On Monday, June 14:

18:00 Oded Paz from the children’s channel,
will entertain with quizes, prizes and songs.

18:30 our mayor Benny Kashriel will read
to the kids.

19:10 There will be a performance of the Green Heros.

On Tuesday, June 15:

18:00 Oded Paz from the children’s channel,
will entertain with quizes and prizes.

18:25 there will be a balloon show by Nir Balloon

19:05 More entertainment with Oded Paz

19:15 Musical performance with “Oriental Kids”
