Ma’ale Adumim Events for Yom Ha’Zikaron – Israel Memorial Day

Shalom.
Today, May 7, there will be a 4 kilometer march in memory of the fallen at 18:00 starting at the Matnas. Please bring flags and wear blue and white.

At 19:50 there will be a public memorial ceremony in Central Park.
It will be broadcast live on Channel 98 and the Adomediatv Facebook page at:
https://www.facebook.com/adomediatv/

The events may also be posted on the Adomedia Youtube channel at:
https://www.youtube.com/user/adomediatv/videos

At 21:00 there will be singing of memorial songs
at the city youth center

At 22:00 there will be a special broadcast about the fallen
soldiers from Ma’ale Adumim.

Ma’ale Adumim Blood Drive – Sunday, May 5 – Canion Adumim

This Sunday, May 5, there will be a blood drive in the mall from 4pm to 10pm
Level -1 near the supermarket

You must bring an ID card.
17 year olds must bring written permission from their parents.

Photos of Packaging Food Baskets for Needy Soldiers and their Families

Today, in memory of Ari and Sari Horowitz z”l, Yashar LaChayal
and community members packaged food baskets for 850 needy soldiers
and their families. The packaging and pickup by army base personnel
was done in Kikar Yahalom.

Koshering Dishes and Utensils for Passover and Places in Ma’ale Adumim to Burn Chametz

Hi Everyone!

Below is the schedule where one can kosher/tovel their dishes
and utensils for Pesach in Ma’ale Adumim.

1. Central Synagogue – 96 HaNechalim
2. Mitzpe Nevo Mikva
Wednesday – April 17: 10:00-20:00
Thursday – April 18: 10:00-22:00

3. Beit Knesset Nofei Sela – 2 Hashechem (07)
Wednesday – April 17: 10:00-22:00 only

4. Beit Knesset Or Zaruah and Beit Knesset Or Zaruah yards – HaKaneh (06)
Thursday – April 18: 10:00-22:00

Please bring clean dishes and utensils.
Strong suggestion: Not to use them 24 hours before
bringing them.

There is no charge for the koshering.

On Thursday April 19, there will be 26 special half barrel metal fixtures placed throughout Ma’ale Adumim for burning your chametz. The city workers will make sure that they are dosed with water before being removed by city tractors.

Good Deeds Day Events in Ma’ale Adumim – April 2, 2019

Hi Everyone!

This Tuesday, April 2, is good deeds day.
In Ma’ale Adumim there will be almost 60!
good deed initiatives going on during the day.
Here is a short video describing what is planned:

Per the video, the person in charge of the
volunteers is Meirav Huri. Her phone number
is listed in the video at: 1 minute 10 seconds.

If you have not volunteered for any of the initiatives,
you can still participate by attending the big event
in Kikar Yahalom in front of the cultural center.
It will take place from 4pm to 7pm.
Entrance fee is 1 dry food item for needy families.
(pasta, sugar, flour, oil, etc..)

The booths at the event will include:
– a Shekel bazar
– designing greeting cards
– preparing food boxes for the needy
– preparing gifts for the soldiers
– blood donations
– first-aid demos
– donating hair – Zichron Menachem
– puppets and more….

At 18:00 there will be a show by the theater group
sponsored by the library.

During the day, merchants in Kikar Yahalom will
be giving special one day discounts.
The discounts are listed on the Hebrew flyer below.

Purim Events in Ma’ale Adumim

HI Everyone!

Purim is this Wednesday night, March 20.

On Wednesday night, after Megillah reading, there will
be a Purim party at Nachalat Yehuda (The Happy Minyan)
1st floor, Yeshiva Tichonit.
The event includes caricatures, music, clowning, ballooning, costume contest, and a comedy show featuring Joan Gittel Levine & Joanne Barth.

On Wednesday night, March 20, at 20:00 there will be a comedy standup marathon in the cultural center. There will also be a Purim costume contest with prizes.
The doors open at 20:00. No entrance after the show starts at 20:30

On Purim, March 21, there will be a Purim carnival in
Kikar Yahalom / Central Park from 11:00 to 15:00
The event is free.
On the main stage in central park:
11:30 – Dana Bananna
12:15 – School performances
13:30 – Costume Contest
14:00 – Agam Buhbut

Building Tenders for 585 Apartments and 2 Hotels in Ma’ale Adumim

Hi Everyone!

Ma’ale Adumim Mayor Benny Kashriel posted on his Facebook page (in Hebrew) that the city published 5 building tenders for 585 apartments to be built in Ma’ale Adumim. 459 will be located in Kikar Kedem which is near the old soccer field, 104 apartments at the beginning of Hagitit Street and 22 in Nofei Sela.

The city also published tenders for two hotels. One hotel will be next door to Canion Adumim (the mall) and one near Tsvika Grove (next to Park Shamir)
