If so, then joining Ma’ale Adumim’s chess club may be for you. “Whether you’re 9 or 90 years old, everyone’s welcome to join,” said Deputy Mayor Boris Grossman, who, along with Mayor Beni Kashriel found donors to help equip the club with 20 chess boards, quality chess clocks, books on chess strategy, as well as a plan to bring top lecturers to share their knowledge. The chess club which meets once a week, is led by Shmuel Bronfman, who was bitten by the chess bug at age 9 and has been playing ever since.
