The regional police headquarters for Judea and Samaria saw a lot of activity last week as 30 police and fire & rescue (f+r) personnel from Jerusalem, Ma’ale Adumim, the Jordan Valley and Megilot participated in a complex simulation of a bombing with non-conventional explosives. Part of the exercise included the rescue of injured “casualties” from top floors of the building — the lone building in E1 — via a specially-designed crane, brought in by the Jerusalem fire and rescue team.
MA’s fire and rescue department is due to receive such a crane in November.
